Tasting - Neu Direction Cabernet Sauvignon

Name: Neu Direction
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: Mendoza
Country: Argentina
Year: 2010
Price: $15, Sale Price: $7.95

Winery Review: This Cabernet Sauvignon shows very good purity of fruit and skillful wine making. This wine is full of black fruit aromas, depth, and style. The palate pushes ripe plum and berry fruit along with chocolate, and the finish is chewy and correct in terms of tannins and structure.

My Review: The nose of this wine had heavy scents of strawberry and watermelon. Additionally, it also possessed strong smells of oak barrel. Secondly to smell, the taste also screamed oak barrel with hints of sweet plum, tobacco, and pepper. The aftertaste "feel"had a lot of texture and body.

I did not have this wine with food.
