Winery Review: Rich, fruit forward cherry flavors, soft tannins, a medium body and a smooth velvety finish. Pairs well with creamy soups, salmon, and savory pork dishes.
My Review: The nose of this wine was sweet and carried scents of raspberry and freshly baked cherry pie. There were also floral undertones present with the smell. The texture was like that of velvet with the dark sweet cherries coming through from the nose. The finish was somewhat hot and peppery, but it contained a good balance overall. I did not pair this wine with any food.
