Name: Santa Julia Pinot Grigio
Variety: Pinot Grigio
Region: Argentina
Country: Argentina
Year: 2013
Price: $ 8.95
Winery Review: Light and clean, which compared to
other Argentine Pinot Grigios is not something to dismiss. Feels solid and
punchy, with orange and mango flavors. Has nice overall clarity and balance,
with a citrusy finish.
My review: The nose of this wine offered hints of citrus and soapiness. Mild scents of white grapes were also present, in addition to having a "sparkling" feel to the smell. The taste was very solid, somewhat dry but very balanced. The after taste feel offered a delicate texture with slight under tones of green apples. I did not pair this wine with any food.
